What is ANIMANGA SCHOOL?

Our school has an online curriculum created by SenjuKobo (Sugimoto Ayumi, CEO), who has been involved in various works both in Japan and overseas.

Active professional artists will be the instructors, teaching current Japanese-style manga and game production techniques. We have a wide range of classes to suit everyone, from beginners who are interested in the genre, to intermediate and advanced artists who want to improve their current skills, to those aspiring to become professionals and succeed in Japan.

Online classes are not just about watching videos, but we also include time online where you can ask questions directly to the instructors.

Ayumi's personal representative works include FFIX, FFX, Kingdom Hearts, etc. Senju Kobo's representative works include the anime "SPY×FAMILY" and "Jobless Reincarnation," and the game "Fate/Grand Order," among many others. In this background drawing course, you will learn how to draw backgrounds using Photoshop.

This is perfect for people who can draw characters but are not good at backgrounds, or those who want to try drawing Japanese anime-style backgrounds.

We cater to a wide range of needs, from beginners to those aspiring to become professionals.

"How to Draw Manga"

Instructor: Yasuko Wakita

In this "How to Draw Manga" course, you will learn the unique Japanese technique of manga production using Clip Studio.

You will be shown the entire process, which is often done alone in Japan, and will be introduced to specific techniques and shortcuts.

The instructor is a professional manga artist with experience teaching at a vocational school and publishing a book.

"How to Draw the Human Body"

Instructor: Brady Evans

In this "How to Draw the Human Body" course, we will teach you the unique Japanese manga style while explaining the structure of the human body part by part.

Illustrator Brady Evans will teach you the characteristics of various art styles and tips on how to draw them using Clip Studio and pencil sketches.

As a Japanese-American, he has a deep knowledge of Japanese culture and has published manga influenced by Japanese literature and history in the United States.
