Direct learning from the pros!
Everything you need to know about drawing heads and faces. Improve your expressiveness in manga and illustrations!
A complete guide to drawing heads from a professional manga artist, covering everything from head, face shapes, bone structure to facial expressions.
Are you worried about the following?
- The neck and head look out of balance = can’t really understand the structure of the skull.
- I can draw a face from the front, but not from the side = can't get the position and size of the facial features right.
- I want to draw a face that looks troubled, but the face looks angry = lacking the skill to express emotions.
- The pupils look out of balance when the face looks at an angle = can’t draw realistic eye details.
- I can't draw delicate expressions, like being angry and embarrassed at the same time = not easy to reflect subtle changes in facial expressions.
